We were looking for a place to stay that was close to the trails, close to food, fuel, and convenient stores—Carter’s Cabins did not disappoint! From the beginning of booking our reservations up to the point of arrival time and check in, and up to departure – everything about our experience was top quality. We stayed in Connie’s Cabin. Everything we could need was provided and the owners checked in with us daily to ensure we didn’t need anything extra. We enjoyed the firepit each evening, with firewood supplied by the owners.

I would highly recommend this to others looking for the comfort of home away from home. We will return again in the near future.

We booked a stay here to ride the trails of Hatfield and McCoys. The cabin was more than enough room, everything you needed, very clean and cozy and such a cute outdoor setup. Its also close to everything and the trails. They had a firepit with plenty of chairs and outdoor lighting, horsehoes, and cornhole. The host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. She took us on a quick tour to show us where everything was and what we needed to know to make sure our stay was a great one. We rented the Briggs and Sutton cabin. Was very clean and had great amenities. Full kitchen, comfortable beds, water and dryer, very clean and well maintained. Best place we have stayed in this area, highly recommend. Owners go out of their way to make it a wonderful experience. 6 out of 5 stars.

We had a group of 8 stay to ride Rockhouse on dirt bikes. Plenty of parking for our 4 trucks and 2 trailers. We rented Briggs and Sutton so everyone had their own bed and it was neat and well kept place.

Awesome place. Nice and quiet relaxing. And most of all extremely clean. Very nice family everyone was awesome text us to check on us to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend this place. We will be back again.
